NOTES: Yahoo was sold to Apollo by its previous owner Verizon Communications in September 2021. Verizon had previously acquired AOL in 2015 (for US$4.4 billion) and following their US$4.5 billion acquisition of Yahoo in 2017, both brands were subsumed under the "Oath" brand. Thus the September 2021 sale to Apollo saw both the Yahoo brand resurrected and included both AOL and Yahoo. As of August 5, 2021, the total voting power for Class A shares, Class B shares and Class C shares in Apollo was 9.2%, 7.7% and 83.1%, respectively. We have thus calculated ownership based on general voting power: Leon Black, Joshua Harris and Marc Rowan own 83.1% of Class C shares en bloc. As such they are effectively the controlling shareholders of Apollo. The voting power ascribed to Tiger Global, Capital World and Vanguard is based on their holdings of Class A stock.
